GrainOn’s 'Farro' Achieves Three Consecutive Sell-Outs on Home Shopping
GrainOn, a specialist in ancient grains, has achieved notable success with its ambitious new product, ancient grain ‘Farro’. Following a sell-out launch on Shinsegae Home Shopping on March 9th, Farro also recorded three consecutive sell-outs on Shinsegae Home Shopping broadcasts on March 26th.
Farro, known for its low carbohydrate and sugar content and high levels of protein, fiber, and various nutrients, is particularly suitable for those seeking weight management, health benefits, or low-sugar foods.
Farro is a low-sugar, low-carbohydrate, high-protein, and high-fiber grain rich in vitamins, magnesium, and minerals. With only 2.4g of sugar per 100g, Farro’s sugar content is more than three times lower than that of Kamut (7.84g), which is known for its low sugar levels.
Farro also contains a high amount of resistant starch, with a level of 17.1g per 100g, which is higher than white rice (0.64g) and brown rice (2.63g). This high resistant starch content helps slow digestion, maintaining satiety for longer periods, which aids in weight management.
A GrainOn spokesperson stated, “With modern consumers becoming increasingly aware of sugar intake, Farro offers a nutrient-rich option with low sugar content, making it an excellent choice for improving diet while maintaining health.”
The spokesperson further added, “We have successfully secured a supply of Farro in South Korea by signing a five-year exclusive contract with major Italian Farro suppliers. We urge consumers to be cautious and ensure they purchase genuine Tuscan Farro with the ‘Le Serante Granotoscano’ official logo, as there are similar products on the market.”
